For twelve years David Brittigan's work at the Center has kept him very busy. He cuts lengths of wire used in a local company's (Modine) heating units according to their technical specifications. David knots cords for Base-X Command and Control Shelters in Fairfield. Without RAOC, the 45 year old Lexington man would not have a job he goes to five days a week, a large circle of friends he sees regularly, and the pride of being able to buy dinners out for himself and his mother.

RAOC Employee Shelvie Montgomery completes a tedious job of gluing a lens for ITT Industries in Roanoke. Night vision goggles are used by the armed forces in combating terrorist attacks and by law enforcement officials in search and rescue efforts.
